About this product
A fluorescent yellow waterproof jacket with a hideaway hood.
Three pockets including a water-resistant ID badge pocket, two armpit ventilation breathers, a double snap front closure over a zip, and 5 cm silver reflective tape. Sizes Small to XX-Large.
A waterproof high visibility rain jacket in fluorescent yellow, made from 100 per cent anti-pill lightweight weather-resistant polyester with a polyester lining.
Three pockets: a water-resistant ID badge pocket and two large zippered pockets.
Two armpit ventilation breathers stop the jacket turning into a sauna when you are working hard in the wet.
A hideaway hood folds away when you do not need it, and adjustable cuffs seal the wrists.
The front closes with a zip under a double snap closure, with webbing reinforcements.
Reflective bands are 2.54 cm trim with 5 cm silver reflective tape for 360 degree visibility, day or night.
Wet weather gear has one hard problem: keep the rain out and you keep the sweat in. This jacket deals with it the practical way, with two armpit ventilation breathers that let air move without letting water in.
The shell is 100 per cent polyester, anti-pill and weather resistant, over a polyester lining. The front closes with a zip under a double snap closure, and the listing notes webbing reinforcements at the closure, which is where a jacket usually tears first.
There are three pockets. Two are large and zippered. The third is a water-resistant ID badge pocket, which is the detail that makes it a work jacket rather than a raincoat.
The hood folds away when you do not want it, and the cuffs adjust to seal the wrists against a running gutter of water down your sleeve.
Reflective tape is 5 cm silver over a 2.54 cm trim, giving 360 degree visibility day or night. The listing describes the background as fluorescent yellow high-visibility material.
The listing does not state model-specific certification for Ireland. Request current test documentation and compare it with the hazards and requirements that apply at your workplace before ordering.

Got questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes do you stock?
Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large.
Is it actually waterproof?
The listing describes it as a waterproof high-visibility jacket in weather resistant polyester. Seams and closures are where any jacket lets water in, so check the front closure is snapped as well as zipped.
Does it breathe?
There are two armpit ventilation breathers. That is mechanical ventilation rather than a breathable membrane, and it works when you open it up.
Does it have a hood?
Yes, a hideaway hood that folds away when you do not need it.
How many pockets?
Three: a water-resistant ID badge pocket and two large zippered pockets.
Is it certified hi-vis for Ireland?
The listing does not state model-specific certification for Ireland. Request current test documentation and compare it with the hazards and requirements that apply at your workplace before ordering.
What does Class 3 mean?
Under the ANSI standard it is the highest conspicuity class, intended for workers exposed to traffic and heavy equipment.
Can I wear it over a hoodie?
Yes, and most people size up if they plan to. Check the chart before ordering.
Can I wear a harness over it?
Yes. Adjust the harness over the jacket and re-check the fit if you remove it.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash and hang it to dry. Do not iron the reflective tape and do not dry clean a waterproof coating.
Will the reflective tape peel?
Do not iron it and do not tumble dry it hot. Those are what lift tape.
What colour is it?
Fluorescent yellow with silver reflective bands. The listing gives the colour as Trench Coat 1pk.
How heavy is it?
0.9 kg, per the listing.
Do the cuffs adjust?
Yes. That is what stops water running down your sleeve.
Is it lined?
Yes, with a polyester lining.
Is it warm?
It is a shell, not an insulated jacket. Layer a hoodie underneath in the cold.
Is it unisex?
The listing gives the department as unisex adult and describes it as suiting men's or women's fit by size.
Who is it for?
The listing names construction, surveying, police, sheriffs and officers, EMS and EMT, firefighters, public safety and security, crossing guards and parking attendants.
Can I use it for cycling?
The listing names outdoor events and recreational use. Reflective bands front and back are exactly what you want in traffic.
Will the ID pocket keep a card dry?
It is described as water resistant rather than waterproof. In sustained heavy rain, use a sealed sleeve inside it.
What if the size is wrong?
For most online purchases, tell us within 14 days after delivery if you want to cancel, then return the goods within a further 14 days. You pay change-of-mind return postage. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods remain covered by Irish consumer law.
Do all sizes cost the same?
Yes. Every size is the same price.
Can I order for a crew?
Yes. Use the wholesale quote form with sizes and quantities.
Is there a warranty?
It carries the statutory rights under Irish consumer law. The listing does not publish a separate manufacturer's warranty period.
Is tax added at checkout?
No additional sales tax is added at checkout. Prices are in euro.
Is it suitable for cold and wet together?
Layer it. The jacket keeps the rain off; a fleece underneath keeps you warm.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free anywhere in Ireland on orders of €100 or more. Under €100 it is a flat €25. Express delivery is €25 on any order, whatever the total.
How long will my order take?
Orders are handled in 24 to 48 hours and then take 5 to 7 days to reach you. You get a tracking number by email as soon as the parcel ships.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
For most online purchases, tell us within 14 days after delivery if you want to cancel, then return the goods within a further 14 days. You pay the return postage on a change-of-mind return. If the item is faulty, not as described, or does not do what it is meant to do, we cover the return and your rights under Irish consumer law are not affected.
What if it arrives damaged?
Tell us straight away and send your order number. We cover the return postage on a damaged or lost delivery and process the refund within 24 to 48 hours of getting the item back.
